I am an enthusiastic and highly motivated Full Stack Web Developer with more than 10 years experience. I consider myself lucky to be able to call my job; my hobby.
For the last 10 years, I have worked as a Senior PHP Developer at a local digital design agency. This experience has made me into a very well rounded Web Developer with excellent front end skills and excellent back end knowledge. I am also very comfortable talking to clients in order to discuss issues or capture requirements for new functionality.
I am now looking for new challenges while applying my 10 years of knowledge and experience.

Work Experience & Education
I have always had a real passion for web development and all the challenges that come with. After 10 years commercial experience, I felt it was time to take on new challenges while providing the best possible service to my clients.
Strategies is a well established digital design agency with a wide range of customers. Over the years, I have taken it upon myself to learn, champion, implement and support new technologies and workflows to make sure we are serving the customer in the best possible manner. I will frequently communicate with the customer in order to solve problems or discuss new functionality.
I have worked extensively on a number of bespoke systems. I work closely with the key stakeholders ensuring requirements have been captured. Most recently I have successfully completed a 12 month project which took a client’s existing desktop application and migrated the functionality to a web based system using Symfony and Doctrine.
A large portion of my time also includes supporting a client base that includes over 100 WordPress websites. I am very comfortable developing and implementing bespoke WordPress themes or bespoke functionality via WordPress plugins.
As a senior developer, over the years I have been responsible for mentoring junior members of staff, delegating work and managing a number of projects.
For my industrial placement while at University, I was responsible for the company’s website and developed innovative ideas and solutions. I also created several mechanisms for producing complex sales reports from an in-house developed system, suggested and introduced improved company work flows to save time and money.
While studying at University I learnt about several aspects relating to Computing, from Object Orientated Programming to Project Management. University gave me the tools to become a successful Web Developer which is now backed up with over 10 years of experience.
I created my first static HTML website while at college for an online gaming community. My passion and enthusiasm for websites and related technologies has continued to grow each and every day.
